For twenty years,Rick watched good golfersget worse from good advice.Advice built for someone else.

Movement 3 Golf is what he built to fix that. Every relationship here begins in the same place — with a GEARS 3D Evaluation of the swing your body can actually build.

How to start

Step One

Start with the GEARS Evaluation.

Every M3G relationship begins here. Before any plan, any tip, any membership — we measure the swing your body can actually build. No exceptions.

Step Two

Then choose your membership.

PAR, BIRDIE, or TOUR — three levels of ongoing coaching built around what your evaluation revealed. À la carte sessions are available afterward when a membership isn’t the right fit.

Programs

The evaluation, then the plan.

Every M3G relationship begins with a GEARS Evaluation — the only way to know which swing your body can build. From there, three memberships offer different depths of ongoing coaching. À la carte sessions are reserved for evaluated players.

For Evaluated Players

À la carte, after the evaluation.

Optical Motion Capture

What GEARS actually measures.

GEARS isn’t another camera. It’s a 3D optical motion-capture system used by tour players, biomechanists, and the world’s top instructors. At Movement 3 Golf, every program starts here.

  1. 1

    600+ images per swing.

GEARS captures your motion at frame rates fast enough to see what your eyes — and even high-speed video — can’t.

  2. 2

26 joint segments. Full 3D model.

Every major joint and segment is tracked simultaneously, giving us a complete kinematic picture instead of a 2D guess.

  3. 3

Force, torque, and ground reaction (Jacobs 3D).

Combined with Jacobs 3D, we don’t just see what your body did — we see the forces driving it. That’s the difference between coaching the symptom and coaching the cause.

M3G Members · Remote Coaching

Another toolin the toolbox.

Every M3G member gets private remote coaching from Rick — between every in-studio session, wherever you go.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need to start with a GEARS Evaluation?

Yes — without exception. The GEARS 3D Evaluation is the required first visit for everyone. Before any tip, plan, or membership, Rick needs a full picture of what your swing is actually doing. Every session afterward is built on that data. À la carte sessions are reserved for players who’ve already been evaluated.

Can I book an à la carte session first, just to meet Rick?

No. À la carte sessions are only available to players who’ve completed a GEARS Evaluation. If you want to meet Rick and see the studio before committing to a membership, the evaluation itself is designed to do exactly that — a full two-hour session in the studio with Rick, working through your swing.

How are memberships billed?

PAR and BIRDIE are billed monthly on a recurring Square invoice; TOUR is billed annually (wire or check preferred, Square card accepted as a backup). We can pause and resume memberships for hardship or injury — details in your Membership Agreement.

What happens if I miss a scheduled session?

Sessions rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice can be moved to another time within the same billing month. Late reschedules and no-shows count against your monthly allotment.

Do unused sessions roll over?

No. Memberships are structured around consistent cadence — that’s what produces results. Unused sessions don’t roll to the next month.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes. Tier changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Reach out and we’ll handle the transition.

Do you offer junior or family rates?

Junior programs are handled separately — get in touch and we’ll find the right fit. Family bundles available for two or more members in the same household.

What should I bring to a session?

Your clubs, golf shoes, and athletic clothing you can move freely in. We have everything else — including indoor-rated balls and motion-capture suits.

Where is the studio?

DINX Social Club, 1931 Skokie Valley Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035. About 30 minutes north of downtown Chicago. Parking on site.

Do you travel for tournament or on-course coaching?

BIRDIE members have on-course coaching options. TOUR members get tournament and on-course coaching included; travel arranged separately.

Can I do everything remotely?

Remote coaching is built for golfers anywhere. Many M3G members work with Rick fully remotely, with periodic in-studio visits or none at all.

What if I’m a complete beginner?

M3G works with golfers at every level. Rick’s approach scales from first-time golfers to tour pros — the science is the same; the application is what changes.

How do I get started?

Book the GEARS evaluation or an à la carte session to meet Rick — both available on Booksy. For TOUR or anything custom, reach out directly.
