M3G respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Contact form submissions: name, email, phone (optional), and message content.
• Client intake form: personal details, golf background, equipment details, physical condition notes, and coaching goals.
• Payment information: name on card, billing address, and card details (transmitted directly to Square and not stored by M3G).
• Session notes and swing data: biomechanical measurements, video recordings, launch monitor data, and coaching notes generated during your sessions.
• Email newsletter opt-in: email address if you subscribe to the M3G email list or download a free resource.

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site

• Standard web analytics: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, referring URL. Aggregated, not used to identify individuals.
• Cookies: the Site uses functional cookies to remember preferences and analytics cookies to measure traffic.

Information from third parties

• Booksy: booking details when you book an à la carte session.
• OnForm: swing videos and coach communications for members using remote coaching.
• Square: payment confirmation details.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide golf instruction personalized to your body, equipment, and goals
• Communicate with you about scheduling, coaching, and account matters
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Send occasional emails you have opted into
• Improve our teaching methodology by studying aggregated, de-identified data patterns
• Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, records retention)

We do not sell your personal information, rent your data for marketing, or use your swing videos or personal information for marketing without your separate written consent.

3. How we share your information

Your information is shared only with the following categories of third parties, and only for the purposes stated:

• Square, Inc. — payment processing
• OnForm — remote coaching platform (members only)
• Booksy — appointment booking
• Google Workspace — email and scheduling infrastructure
• Our website analytics provider — de-identified traffic data
• Legal and accounting professionals — as needed for compliance
• Law enforcement or courts — only when compelled by valid legal process

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

The Site uses cookies for necessary browsing, non-identifying analytics, and functional preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some Site functions may not work if cookies are disabled. The Site does not use third-party advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.

5. Your rights

All visitors

• You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link in any email.
• You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing rsilva@movement3golf.com.
• You may request that we correct inaccurate information or delete information we hold about you.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, or shared; to delete personal information; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (M3G does not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising). To exercise these rights, email us with "CCPA Request" in the subject line.

European Union / United Kingdom residents (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us with "GDPR Request" in the subject line.

We respond to all rights requests within thirty days.

6. Data retention

• Client intake forms and coaching notes: retained for the duration of the coaching relationship and for seven years thereafter, for continuity of care and legal recordkeeping.
• Financial records: retained for seven years to meet IRS and Illinois recordkeeping requirements.
• Website analytics: retained in aggregated form for up to twenty-six months.
• Email marketing list: retained until you unsubscribe.

7. Data security

M3G takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Payment card data is never stored directly by M3G — it is tokenized and vaulted with Square, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Client records are stored in access-controlled systems with strong password requirements. Physical documents are stored in a locked area of the M3G studio.

No security measure is perfect. If a data breach occurs that materially affects your information, M3G will notify you within seventy-two hours of confirming the incident.

8. Children's privacy

M3G's Site is not directed to children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. Coaching services for minors are contracted with a parent or legal guardian.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated Effective Date at the top of this page and, where practical, communicated by email or Site banner.
